What Wishees stores
Wishees stores public wish sidecars only when you choose to post them. A wish sidecar may include a title, safe public note, link, category, and optional owner contact. Avoid addresses, medical details, private messages, payment IDs, or anything that belongs in a private chat.
Shared links and visibility
Wishees uses signed-in and stored sharing when it can. Browser-only or no-account links can include the details needed to show the page to a friend. Treat every shared link as readable by anyone who receives it, and keep titles, notes, names, and product links public-friendly.
Browser storage
Wishees may use browser storage to remember referral, friend invite, language, wishlist, and currency preferences on your device. These values help preserve friend context and regional display. You can clear them through your browser settings.
Friend invites
If you accept a friend invite, Wishees may store the invite code, your name, your email, and the inviter name as a pending friend connection. This replaces generic starter content with real friend wishes when the friend network is enabled.
Gift wishes pages
Gift wishes pages can keep shared reservation status for an event and remember your own reservation on this device. No-account event links may include event titles, host contact details, and gift ideas so the page can open without requiring a private account.
My Wishees pages
Personal Wishees wishlists can sync to an account when you are signed in and fall back to browser storage when you are not. Shared wishlist or item links may show wish titles, notes, optional shopping links, price hints, and the sharing name or nickname you chose.
Email requests
If you contact Wishees about feedback, privacy, account access, or support, the message is used only to reply, troubleshoot, or discuss the requested work. Do not send passwords, OAuth tokens, payment IDs, private addresses, or sensitive wish details.
Account sessions
Owner, admin, member, and viewer account sessions use a signed cookie. Wishees does not store payment checkout data because checkout is no longer part of the active public product.
Legal bases and retention
Depending on the country and request, Wishees processes data to provide the requested service, answer support messages, protect against abuse, maintain account safety, and meet legal obligations. Some records may be retained for security or abuse prevention.
Advertising and affiliate links
Wishees may show disclosed Amazon or shopping affiliate links when they are useful to a product wish. If analytics or additional third-party processing is added, this policy should describe the cookies, identifiers, and providers involved.
Your requests
You can ask to access, correct, export, or delete personal data that Wishees can identify and is not needed for legal, security, dispute, or account-safety reasons. URL-only wishlists may require the exact link for review.

Browser-only wish links and local storage live on your device. Clear Wishees site data in your browser, and include exact Wishees URLs in a deletion request if you want them reviewed.
